It looks like someone "suddenly" noticed that this was an
"Asian" film (when it first came out, wasn't it bashed by
some Asian-American critics because Gale was the Prince
Charming?) and threw some attention at it. Hey, as long
as Gale is showing up in public and not lurking in a
basement somewhere (unless it's mine), I don't really
give a damn!

Yeah, I think I remember that. I definitely see it making the Asian circuit. I don't know why she didn't just utilize them before to give the film some exposure? Instead, she took it to a bunch of theaters where nobody had an idea of what it was. Intereesttting. Yes, as long as Gale's there -- I'm good!
