My dvd player for TV is R2 because at that time and still these days you can't find R1 dvd players in the shops here.. and you know, everything you buy is a shop is R2 so that is the reason they give you if you ask about it.

I buy everything online so I get it in R2 because I prefer to watch it on TV and usually R1 dvds are also more expensive in the european online shops.. in amazon USA the shipping is very expensive and in Play is free)

But I set my dvd player in my laptop for R1 dvds so here I can see the stuff I have in R1 which is just things I wanted because they aren't on R2 or the special features are not in the R2 releases.
