It's a very good price for people in USA but I do think what you have is MUCH more awesome.. the invidual R1 boxes are really gorgeous (even with S5 being kinda worse) and have all the extras (one the contrary, the R2 are AWFUL without extras, reason why I'd never buy them even if I had the money since I already have everything). If you saw the awful Spanish R2 box I saw here for the whole show you'd freak out with the horror lol.. I totally did.

I'm gonna be home so I'll watch ATWT live today too.

God, yes, we got TOTALLY ripped off with R2. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

That is a ridiculously low price. Grrr!

I really love this packaging, but I can't spend another $83 to add to the $350+ I've spent on the seasons separately. So sad.

I've even started writing some fic (I can't believe I wrote in another fandom)! LOL

My dvd player for TV is R2 because at that time and still these days you can't find R1 dvd players in the shops here.. and you know, everything you buy is a shop is R2 so that is the reason they give you if you ask about it.

I buy everything online so I get it in R2 because I prefer to watch it on TV and usually R1 dvds are also more expensive in the european online shops.. in amazon USA the shipping is very expensive and in Play is free)

But I set my dvd player in my laptop for R1 dvds so here I can see the stuff I have in R1 which is just things I wanted because they aren't on R2 or the special features are not in the R2 releases.

Totally.. and the worse is how awful the plastic boxes are. The first time I saw season 1 I couldn't believe it.

OMG whut? I paid like $80 for each season... :/ Thievery! And I bought the box set from someone for $100... Would have loved to have it new for less...

Also, I worked for tips at the time at a grocery store. The people at Best Buy loved me buying those DVDs and only having ones. :P Good times... lol.

I paid $90 for season 5 because amazon said the release date in Canada wouldn't be for another year and I wanted it then! During pride I saw the shiny gold box behind a glass door and I had to have..

I think three months later it got released for like $35, I was livid!!

Oh, man, that is a good price for the whole series. I want 'em. So purdy! :(( I feel a new wave of newbies coming in as those get sold... Also, holy crap. I paid that much for ONE season. :| But still, totally worth it. I know I couldn't've waited another 5+ yrs to own 'em. *clutches DVDs to my boobs*

It breaks my heart for how cheap stores are selling QaF these days, even here in my country. (WHERE, IF WE REMEMBER, IT WAS UNAVAILABLE IN 2006 WHEN I NEEDED IT.) The epicness of QaF isn't supposed to be sold for dumping prices. :(

I've really liked the clips and the entire show this week. I dvr the show every day so I can watch what I want and fast forward through the garbage. I'm thrilled that the kidnapping story is finally over -- most dragged out story line in ages.

Luke & Reid get closer and more comfortable with each other and I have to admit that I was a bit touched by Luke & Noah's first interaction at Java.

Why are DVDs so much? Gossip Girl comes out at $52 without many bonus features..wtf am I paying for?

Originally I couldn't afford it on my meager walmart salary, but luckily the friend I watched it with had "rich" older sisters who bought it, so many a day was spent REWATCHING everything!
