Photo A Day - January 1st!

Here we go, folks! We're doing this. I'm doing both the Photo-A-Day challenge and starting a Things Around My Apartment photo-a-day for the year. I've accumulated a lot of stuff over the years so it's finally time to get those things documented. Let's get it going.

"Things Around My Apartment"

Had to use my CoolPix 'cause I can't find the USB cord for my Nikon! Grr. But these are the flowers I got for my mom's birthday. The Venetian in Las Vegas has a fantastic concierge service. The flowers and other items I ordered were delivered on time. Last year, I got her a huge bouquet in a large vase that we weren't able to carry down to the car. This year, I went small and portable. They've lasted with a little bit of water since the 27th. The wilting process has already begun but they still look beautiful.
