I've seen a few clips so that I could know a little about this fandom you love and read your posts.. and yeah, I have some doubts but mainly, which accident did he have to be blind? car accident? and he broke up with Noah because he was blind? have they changed the actress playing Luke's mom? (I saw a clip like a year ago in a post and I may be wrong) When is this show ending? wasn't it cancelled? (I think I read it in my flist) :)
Oh man. The story of Luke and Noah and Reid is a twisted one. It's really only been interesting because of Reid who is such a realistic soap character and they've been writing him really well! It's been surprising and it's been great.
Anyway! Answers: Noah was working on his movie and he climbed up this ladder to fix some fireworks that he needed for his movie and the fireworks blew up in his face, causing his blindness. Luke and Noah broke up because Noah didn't want Luke around during his recovery. Noah needed space and Luke pretty much wanted to go whatever made Noah happy so they broke up. It wasn't because he was blind but Noah was pushing away Luke ever since he became blind because Noah blamed Luke for the accident. They were fighting at the time ... as they always were.
They changed the actress who's playing Luke's mom a couple of years ago, I think. I don't really remember when but it feels like a really long time ago.
The show's going to be ending in September, unfortunately. So, there has been sort of a battle between Noah fans and Reid fans. Diehard Nuke fans want nothing to do with Luke/Reid so there's been a separation between fandom. I'm on the side of Luke/Reid!
Ok, thanks for all the info! Tonight I'm gonna start watching some of the older clips from March and will try to catch up until now even I saw since they kissed so I know what's happening but I do like the actor playing Reid so it's interesting to see his acting.
Must say I like a lot more the doctor than Noah and afterall he pushed him away.
One thing: since when is Luke so rich lol? that's weird.. somebody gave him money?
You're welcome, bb! Yeah, they've had fantastic chemistry since Reid's been on the show. He's got such a great voice and presence, rawr. It helps that he can actually act, lol.
Luke's always been rich. He's in the Synder family and they're rich by default. His mom's rich but his dad was a stable boy when they met. Like ... star-crossed lovers, heh. But, Luke is in charge of running a foundation ever since he was kicked out of school -- which Noah actually instigated. :|

I'm not sure, did you watch Luke and Noah's story at all? Luke didn't leave school. He was expelled. He rigged the student elections and Noah turned him in to the Dean of the school. So, Luke was kicked out and everyone wanted to do something with his life so through some money that he got from his birthfather -- Damien -- he used it to start a foundation.
Ah, okay. You should go back and watch some of those scenes! Explains a lot about the situation. There was an interesting storyline where Luke and Noah were kidnapped.
I love, love, loved Luke's hurt face when he was like, "Why are you treating me this way?" And how Luke looked so attracted to Reid and also really hurt by Reid's behavior, and clearly did not want to use this as an excuse to walk away from whatever they had started together, and he so very obviously wanted Reid to kiss him again, OMG! Their chemistry is off the fucking charts. It made me all hot and bothered and when they didn't kiss...I was so mad! :D

ME TOO! I must've seen that one over and over again. There was a touch on Reid's arm and he looked so hurt. It seems like Luke has to hide so much whenever he's around Noah and the second that he's not, he's totally in the Reid-Zone again.
There is cheek-cupping, Rhi! Cheek-cupping and looks of longing and loving glances and next week Noah asks what's going on with them! I am not pleased that we have to wait once a week for them! I say we scoot other storylines over to make room for them. :D
I wish they wouldn't have the boys keep pushing this BS that Luke is somehow responsible for Noah being blind and that's what came between them. Because I watched every one of those eps and it was Noah totally not knowing what he was doing -- Luke had nothing to do with it and certainly didn't "distract" him! They might just as well blame "Mason Jarr"!
I have to say that I became Team Reid on the day they showed Noah holding hands with Richard after he told Luke he didn't want to be in a relationhship. That said to me, at least not with Luke, even though he's been spinging off the Snyders for two years.
Yeah, I'm ready for the change, although I doubt it will be the endgame.
Yes! I agree! They still -- Noah still -- hasn't said that it wasn't Luke's fault. He wants things to get back to the way that they were but he'll never say that it wasn't Luke's fault even when Luke was blaming himself for it.
I'm totally Team Reid and will not switch over! Luke needs to be in a mature, adult relationship and not the back-and-forth that Noah's providing him with. I'm going to live in my alternative universe in which Luke and Reid are endgame and people will continue to write fics to feed my delusion. :)
