In case anyone's noticed, there's no QaF Fandom Valentine's this year. I've been running them for the past few years but I knew this year with other fandom activities and my own personal time, I just wouldn't have time to do them. Guys, I'm already nostalgic for them! So hopefully they'll be back next year. I had this grand plan of having a nice paragraph about what you guys can do for the day as a fandom. Instead, you have this paragraph.

But! Here's what you can do. If you feel like it, leave your messages below in comment form. I know it's not exactly anonymous but it's one place for you all to leave your messages to each other. Take your time with it. I'll be closing the post after a week so everyone can come back and read their messages over and over again. Everyone have a great day! ♥

Wow! There are messages for more than 300+ people this year. Awesomesauce number, folks. I want to thank everyone who participated. I very much appreciate it. Thank you to url_girl for the use of her awesome Valentine's Day icon, severina2001 for starting this tradition and allowing me to continue to bring it all together, and this fandom for going strong. ... seriously, I can't believe it's Christmas soon. Just last year I was off for the Philippines in February and I started advertising for the Valentine's Day thing early. Speaking of which, maybe I'll start advertising that on January 1st. That way people have time to submit messages. First of all, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY jittrbugg! I hope that you had a good one.

Secondly, I don't think that I thanked everyone properly for participating in the Valentine's Day Secret Admirer Extravaganza project! Thank you so much to everyone who participated, everyone who sent in messages for their friends, everyone who even got a mention and even those who didn't I'm sending so much love to all of you.

I really enjoyed working on it and putting it together. I just love the tradition and trying to keep it an annual event since it started ... what was it, a couple of years ago in severina2001's journal? I know that sdvmadelyn does the giant one but we still have ours trucking along the highway alongside so, thank you again! Definitely hope to see it next year too. ♥♥♥♥♥ to all of you!

And now as a little side note I am getting SO nostalgic for Qaf again. I mean before with my nostalgia posts (you can find the fic part one here) I was/am just very nostalgic for fandom but now I'm getting show nostalgic!

I was reading arlad's wonderful AU fic The Space Between that I've never read before since I was too busy graduating from college when she wrote it but I just got ridiculously happy thinking about Brian and Justin again. Then I watched the following clips:

8) Ready to go ...
9) Fucking chicken soup

And I just ... man. It just hit me how much I still love these moments. Watching season four and that scene that they had sitting on the floor with the Chinese boxes I mean what would we have given to have seen that scene a couple seasons prior to that moment? I know that we were all SHOCKED when we saw those clips (on Andrea's site, hee). I remember how much I loved feeling that surprised and happy for those two.

Sigh, memories. I think I need a marathon. I rewind Nuke clips constantly for their little touching moments together and it's been a while since I've done that for Brian and Justin. I know I'll be having a bit of a rewind-a-thon soon!

Wow. I am completely blown away by how many people spread the love for their flist. This is a tradition that I do hope will continue on in the future and I was more than happy to do it this year for everyone. Since I opted to cancel the recommended 10 people on your flist the love definitely poured in for more than 350 PEOPLE this year. Wow. Incredible! So, thanks for letting me do this and have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
