HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

To my friends around the world -- happy ordinary day! And for the Americans, hope everyone's enjoying their few well deserved days off and everyone has so much food that they do not know what to do with it. The potatoes are baking, I just woke up, and the turkey is done and looks delicious. Ready to eat! The National Dog Show is starting soon and there's a House Hunters marathon on HGTV. \o/ I am grateful for those things.

I feel so, so thankful this year. I feel so thankful that I have a job, a roof over my head, food in my stomach, hobbies that make me happy, and friends and family I know I can count on. I'm so, so thankful that you all are here to listen to my crazy, to squee with, to reminisce with. I'm thankful that some of us had Luke and Reid this year to inspire us and to bring old friends back together, back into the world of obsession. I've never really written anything that's been so well received and it both surprises me every time that someone comments on it and it's flattering. I'm grateful for all those comments and any kind of acknowledgment regarding anything I write. I'm thankful to be involved in two fandoms that are so incredibly entertaining and continue to keep my interest. I'm thankful for LJ and to you guys! I really appreciate that you're all here, truly.

Also, holy engagements batman! Ashley Lipps just got engaged too! She's been dating Seth since high school, I remember when they first met at a really awkward party thrown by my prom date... who then gave me a note professing his love for me. It was really awkward.

Dude, all these engagements come together. I am not surprised. Jessica and Frances and all of them got engaged at the same time. Must be very expensive for their friends to attend those weddings, lol. I'm so happy for you guys though! I know that Ashley's been with Seth forever and a day. They're practically married in my head. That sounds like a crazy day! Sounds awkward, haha.
