Wow, I'm all early with these. Fab. Tomorrow may not be the same case but I'll post them when I get home.

"Heart"

A photo of me and my mama. This was taken on the trip where my parents traveled from America to the Philippines to take me home to the States. I was 8 months old and my family had been hard at work in the Philippines to make sure I had all the necessary paperwork to send me home with my mom and dad. The adoption and my naturalization papers were ready in November 1985 and my parents booked the first flight to get me in the Philippines. I sure was happy to see my mom, wasn't I? My mother's been a mother in every sense of the word. She accepted me and treated me as her own from the moment she saw me and I've never felt any differently about that. When I think of home and when I think of someone who's always loved me, I think of my mom.

"Things Around My Apartment"

This is where the inspiration for this project came from. I bought these boxes from IKEA because organization is totally my plan in 2013. I need to get my stuff organized. So, I've managed to put a lot of old magazines in these boxes that are lined up against my wall. I'm sure I'll photograph the contents of the boxes soon enough but these are all stacked against my wall for now until I figure out what to do with them.
