I missed posting yesterday because I got home from Disneyland past 10 and after being up since 7:45 in the morning, I crashed. I crashed and I crashed hard. Then today, I attended my baby cousin's 5th birthday party! Yesterday was his actual birthday but today was party day. So you get two photos today.
"The view from here."
"Here" was Disneyland yesterday. It was a beautiful sunny day in Southern California. It got really, really chilly later and I had one 5-year-old and one 6-year-old on my hands where one wanted to go and one wanted to stay. But it was the birthday boy's day and what he said went. We had a great day together with my family, with my cousins. Family really made me feel the magic there in Disneyland. And I got my annual pass yesterday. It was an extra moment of happiness in there. Yay, ragingpixie!
"Movement."
Today was the birthday boy's party and my cousin hired a bubble lady for entertainment. She taught us about bubbles and put everyone at the party in bubbles. It was very, very cool. Today's theme was movement and those bubbles were certainly moving.
"Things Around My Apartment"
So, this is the main wall of my room. I've hung all kinds of things there that mean a lot to me. I wouldn't hang them there if I didn't want to see them every day. I'm going to do a series with my wall since that's something to photograph for a few days.
It's no secret that I love Hollywood. I used to have a lot of "HollywoodDreams" or "HollywoodDreamerz" screennames or e-mail addresses in my day. I've worked in television for five years now and I love it. Even though I love television and I love movies, Old Hollywood still interests me the most. I love this poster. I'm a regular at the Pantages and seeing it here in its Hollywood glory where they used to hold the big movie premieres, the Academy Awards, it's impressive. The facade still looks the same but it's primarily a theater for the Broadway touring companies instead of really big Hollywood events. No matter what complaints I have about the theater or some of the staff and behavior of the patrons there, I'll always appreciate it for its rich history and place in Hollywood.
