Haha I totally don't see how is it for friends, it's just some commercial crap for stores to sell a whole loads of heart shapes you name it. It's not a real holiday for me if you don't get the day off for this so I just don't care. Though I did have a blast "celebrating" it yesterday on ontd and sharing the love with my fellow hobbit fans, in this case I guess I can see this as a thing for friends too then!
Someone was saying it on the radio like, no, it's not just for couples! Um, are you actually blind? Because I see nothing that tells me it's some kind of day to celebrate with your pals, no. And yes, exactly. No holiday doesn't come with a day off! I spent my evening with Glee so it's more like... television awareness day, haha.
